Update

Blog entries have not been as frequent as I would have liked but it's been a busy recent few weeks. Being a part of the Medalist Sports team we organized the Greenville Hospital Systems USA Cycling Pro Championships in Greenville, SC and followed with the inaugural Tour of Missouri. Both were a big success and we hope they can continue to grow next year. In Greenville Dave Zabriskie once again won the Individual Time Trial and will wear the Stars and Stripes next year when racing time trials. Levi Leipheimer rode a great road race and we already got to see him in Missouri sporting his new colors in the USA Stars and Stripes. Please check out this short interview I did while awaiting the finish in St. Charles, MO. That day we saw a great battle for the stage with Danny Pate of Slipstream attacking his breakaway companions in the last kilometers and soloing in for the win! Great to see Danny winning a stage especially after his near miss of winning the time trial in Greenville where he held onto the lead and was nipped by one second to winner Dave Zabriskie. One second has to be tough; that's an adjustment of the shorts or setting up for a corner just a touch soon but I always tell my athletes I'd rather be the guy in that position then not at all...great performances.
